Mika’s dad is still one of the big architects of geopolitics (this guy was HUGELY powerful) and he is intimately connected to the Obama campaign in order to push Barack for war w/ Russia, so it’s safe to guess that this family does things for political purposes. This is a political move to advance her TV fame – although it probably does reflect her rightful disgust and it does make her sexier.
